Neuron consult

Background

Neuron Consult is a consulting company with offices in Austria and Croatia. They've rebranded themselves (used to be called only Neuron) and for that purpose I've retouched the logo. Of course the outdated web needed fresh design juice too so I've put my effort there as well.

Storyboard

Initial design (and the best one IMHO) client has demolished. I've made complete redesign of the logo but that was rejected too — only minor changes were accepted. Client ditched white background and enclosed all the whitespace with the margins. Black was introduced as a part of the corporate identity. In the final version utility and main navigation were merged into the same line which cluttered that space. Client in the end rejected all graphic details (i.e. icons) as they made this web look like "news portal like" (his words).
